Almond meal

  1. Take your blanched almonds and grind in a food processor blender until a medium-fine textured meal forms. Use blanched almonds for a more uniform-coloured and even tasting flour. If you want finely textured almond flour, be sure to pulse the almonds a little longer. Be advised, however, that pulsing the almonds for too long can result in almond butter.
  2. Put ground almond meal in a clean flour sifter. Sift almond meal.
  3. Place any large particles of almonds back in coffee bean grinder and pulse again.
  4. Sift remaining almond meal.
